Abigail Clayton

Client Director

Abigail has over 15 years' experience of managing HR and change projects, is British Psychological Society accredited in psychometric testing, Prince II qualified and a member of the Association for Project Management. Her background in HR Project implementation, coupled with practical hands-on experience makes her particularly skilled at advising and supporting her clients in the assessment and development of their people and their organisations as a whole.

Abigail's previous experience heading up the Getfeedback Operations team make her well placed to consider the wider practical implementation requirements of change projects as well as consultancy requirements and best practice recommendations. Her primary interest is to help clients understand the information they need to select, develop and retain the best people for their organisation. Her consultative approach combined with her detailed experience of the implementation of larger scale change and research projects helps her to quickly understand the issues faced by her clients.

Abigail has worked with O2, Carillion, HSBC, UBS, Enterprise, Judge Business School - Cambridge University, Winton Capital, Barlcays, Brit Insurance, bwin.party ITV, The National Assembly for Wales, Misys, CIPD, Aon, Donaldsons, The National Society for Epilepsy, UGS, esure, SFI Group, Burberry, Haribo, Clifford Chance, Renault F1, Astellas Pharmaceutical, Naked Wines and Pizza Express, amongst others. Abigail is a keen judoka and football player. Having been top scorer in the Southern Region first division with Oxford United, Abigail is now signed to Barton Ladies for the forthcoming season. She also actively involved in working the land on the farm where she lives and her husband two little girls

Project experience

Abigail has managed some of the most strategic projects for Getfeedback - and for our clients. She has:

  • Managed the implementation of a global talent pool for a global financial services organisation involving running development events and follow up activities in London, India, Hong Kong and Chicago.
  • Managed the recruitment selection of a pool of new senior directors for Alfred McAlpine
  • Scheduled and delivered the high potential selection and development programmes for O2's gold and platinum sales force
  • Developed an innovative, practical project management approach for EMI's global employee survey.

Previous experience

Abigail has been at Getfeedback for over 10 years however prior to that she gained considerable experience managing projects for Snowdrop Systems - a payroll and HR software organisation - she brings a particular eye for detail to the Getfeedback business.

  • BA (Hons) (first class) in Economics and Social Policy awarded by the University of Leeds
  • Member of the Association for Project Management (APM)
  • Qualified PRINCE2 practitioner
